Changing to straight path and strong unity,

By Deng Madut Akech Akoon:

Personally, I'm disturbed by those who are taking part in supporting or opposing outgoing governor and incoming governor, you're not making senses. Any community in Gogrial, should stand firm and wait President Kiir Mayardit's decision, you don't have the right to appoint or dismiss the person appointed by the highest authority in South Sudan, what brought this division among you?
It's mind boggling to hear that some youth received payment to do their free campaign on behalf of these visionless leaders.

I want Aguok Thiarkurou to be clean from these messes, united, more cooperation toward development, stop being negative, create new things, do more research following global issues, participate in youth activities and think outside the box.

In former Gogrial State, do you know who can divide or unify us?

In my understandable mind, we failed to choose leaders who are self aware, lead to inspire, turn words to actions, innovatively committed to follow smooth path to unity and development. Within our own background, we grew up differently in the villages and towns, some of us didn't have chances to see our grandparents solving traditional cases. Some of you are giving autocratic thugs to be governor of Warrap State, where do you caged Twic and Tonjcommunities?

I don't think we get it, nobody will speed things up in Former Gogrial State or Warrap to unite our poor citizens, we still have a long way to go. Don't involve in the State politics, because the won't provide you with anything healthy, find something important than putting yourself down to be hated and seen as a loser.

Promote a good cause:

Clean up your small towns, markets, churches, youth centres, meeting halls and sports fields. Gladly, I saw young boys in Gogrial town while on a visit, I'm told later that my uncleson Agoth Mabior Wek-Ajok supported one of the sport team. This is an excellent cause that young people should be engaging to change teenagers lives for the betterment of Aguok community. Young people wanted to fit in the community and be known for something important, not engaging or supporting something with no beneficial to the entire society. These leaders are just looking for positions and they'll forget those who campaigned for them after they had achieved their objectives. When you involve young people to take part in productive activities, they'll turned away from doing crimes to change for the better, that's healthy with advantageous. Aguok Thiarkurou Global Association will one day call for a conference to address these issues once and for all to take part in developing Aguok-land, not supporting those who will bring nothing to us.

I'm a bit worried that some of our youth got brainwashed by these covetous misinformed elders, I won't call them politicians when they didn't attend School of political science at top universities around the world.

We have a share vision and responsibility, but we happen to ignore essential activities to improve young people lives and took wrong path. Youth engagement in developmental program is such an imperative way of bringing them to fully understand meaning of live. I'm a non-judgemental and I'm not criticising Aguok community youth, I'm telling us to end opposing or supporting those who won't contributing nothing to our community. They're tearing us apart to turn our focus away from our own community that's making progress if you like. Thoughtfully, I want this to slip away from your mind, think about what you can do to your community, not who can be State governor or any position in the State parliament. For example, I ended being a blind supporter whether at the national government and at State level, why?
You appear to be thinking of other person as better than you in anything, you neglect what you can achieve as a person in your own right. I see myself creating enemies when I use to support some leaders years ago, now I brought these enemies closer, because I stopped debating negatively with them. They weren't real enemies, disagreement occurred, but not personal attack, instead we agree to disagree in opinions.

Internet is a different world and we must use it wisely to educate ourselves, not to insult others who don't support our opinions. You see most Jieng do live videos to spew out their anger, their children will watch these abusive videos in the future, they won't be happy.

I hate to see articles continuously circulating on Facebook among the youths of Aguok insulting themselves, distorted our respectful Chiefs who are innocent in your fight, it must stop. Aguok is bigger than us and our interests, creating space for strong unity is essential and best way to build a peaceful community.

How did Rwanda develop and buried 1994 genocide?

By Deng Madut Akech   How did Rwanda develop and buried 1994 genocide?     Historically, the smallest nation in East Africa has most blisteringly recovered from genocide of 1994.   Hutus are historically known for farming crops and Tutsis tended livestock like any other African tribes in the region.   It was a systematic murdering of Tutsi ethnic group who were innocently killed by Hutus as the world didn't act to halt genocide. they Rwandans gathered in April yearly to mourn for the lives lost as Africans and the world grieve with them unitedly. The tragedy was inhuman, cruelly, unlawful, senseless and violently devastating which bring an evocative image to mind or unforgettable experience of Rwanda extermination.     In Kakuma Kenya, we heeded and heard the news on the BBC focused on Africa as the genocide occurred in that part of the world. It was the first time I learned and heard of the word genocide, which mean the deliberate killing of a large n

May 16 tribute:

By Deng Madut Akech Akoon. 16 May tribute: I use this chance to honour our leader, Kuanyin Bol, who fired the first shot and was injured, along with Maker Jol Deng, who lost his life in Bor town, and the late Dr. John Garang de Mabior, who led the SPLM/A and fought relentlessly. The late Dr. John Garang de Mabior, leader of the SPLM/A, demonstrated unwavering determination in his fight. In May 1983, our leaders armed themselves and ventured into the bush to combat the Khartoum regime, achieving their objective. They engaged in combat with Gaafar Nimerir, Sadiq Al Mahdi, and Omar Hassan Al Bashir until they were victorious. From 1955, Joseph Lagu and other leaders fought together against our enemies. Late William Deng Nhial, was another instrumental in the struggle for self-determination of South Sudan. He painted our history until the Late Dr. John Garang began from where he left it, we're here because of them. Col Emmanuel Abur Nhial, who refused to join the tyrant government
